GATEWAY TO INNOVATION

Gateway to Innovation
A day long event highlighting innovation in St. Louis, sharing and collaborating on new opportunities that help drive business growth, and improving the quality of life in our community.

The 2008 Gateway to Innovation Conference is a daylong event highlighting information technology (IT) innovation in St. Louis that drives economic growth across all industries, from life sciences to manufacturing and finance. It will offer an opportunity to learn from industry peers, create strategic alliances, expand personal networks and even get a sneak preview of the discoveries and innovations of tomorrow.  Educational sessions will provide actionable information, along with a focus on the business of technology development.

A panel of distinguished experts will begin the afternoon with a discussion on “Convergence and Innovation,” followed by a keynote presentation by Dr. Robert Atkinson, President, The Information Technology & Innovation Foundation on “The Economic Impact of Information Technology.”  The conference concludes with recognition of St. Louis organizations that have received national or international acclaim for achievements in IT and an elaborate cocktail reception attended by the “Who’s Who” of regional business, technology, civic, educational and political leaders.

The 2008 Conference is hosted by the Information Technology Coalition and the Society for Information Management. Additional organizers include the St. Louis RCGA, The St. Louis Science Center, Innovate St. Louis, and The Coalition for Plant and Life Sciences.
